[Canon-350D] Re: CF card pins postyexpress Mon Sep 29 01:01:57 2008
The 350D is a good camera and putting good glass on it will make it a great camera. Add a battery grip for the vertical shots and I find it very versatile. The only thing I don't like is the small screen. I am starting to wish I had paid a bit more for the almost identical 400D for just that reason. All the same accessories fit. How much did it cost to get the camera fixed? Given that its a 2005 camera I just wonder if a discounted 400D may have been worthwhile. You can use the camera without the CF card. The card only stores the image. If you want to take pictures in the garage you can tether it to a computer and display full screen and capture to the computer. I just bought a 5 metre active USB cable from Dick Smith (electronics shop) and with the normal camera cable that's 6 metres (20 feet) You can then attach the camera to a boom or the ceiling and play. Just a thought. bob > ----- Original Message ---- > From: Boris Beckert <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Thursday, September 25, 2008 8:43:03 PM > Subject: [Canon-350D] CF card pins > > > Hi all, > > Not to burden this list with discussion relevant to photography and > the 350D, but I thought I'd just chime in to say that I recently had a > bent CF pin, and sent in my camera to a photo shop for repair.
