[Supertraining] Re: Question - Rest interval between sets? Susan Mon Apr 16 00:04:37 2007

A lot of people have asked me this question, and I promise I will ask her, but
right now she is in Florida for the next several weeks on vacation and I can't.
She outlined my next several week program and gave it to me before she left.
Curiosity got the better of me, which is why I asked here. Honest, I am not
changing - and will not change under any circumstances - what my coach is
telling me, she's the best and it's clearly working, I'm winning my races. All
I want to know is what is the purpose and meaning of the various length of rest
intervalls between sets. What is the purpose of a longer versus shorter rest
interval? I'm so new to lifting that I don't always understand the purpose of
what I'm doing, and for curiosity's sake I like to know. Not to change it but
to understand it.

Everyone has been extremely helpful and I sure appreciate it, I'm definitely
learning a lot here! Thank you everyone for helping me!!!!

intervals should be, and why. Why not ask her the rationale for the
  rest intervals she prescribed?>>>
