Ton van den Bogert wrote on the Biomch-L: The full decision of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) can be found here: http://www.tas-cas.org/recent-decision (click on Pistorius v. IAAF) It is interesting to read, and I found it encouraging that the scientific experts of both parties were largely in agreement. The conclusion was that no evidence exists for an overall advantage due to the prosthesis. Key words are "no evidence" and "overall". There may be some advantages but also some disadvantages which cancel out in the overall performance. There may be even an overall advantage (or disadvantage) but so far the data are not conclusive. --------------- Jamie Carruthers Wakefield, UK
