[Canon-10D] Sterling Ironworks 3D with Topaz B&W Christian Kuiphoff Fri Apr 06 13:00:08 2012
Hi All, I revisited the foundations and ironworks for some 3D shots. They're in Analglyph format, so yes, you need the funny Red/Blue glasses to appreciate them. These foundations are located in the surrounding area of the Sterling Ironworks, which began production in 1751 and was in operation for almost 100 years. It was owned by the Townsend family. The iron from this furnace made the anchors for the frigate, USS Constitution and for the huge chain that was stretched across the Hudson River near West Point during the Revolutionary war. This puts them between 150 to 250 years old.
