Yes, from upstate NY.  We did a driving tour 3 years ago but went pretty 
much around the perimeter of the country (11,500 miles).  This time we 
went much more diagonally from NY to California (7,500 miles).  This 
time we had some specific places to visit at specific times. Also, the 
trip started too late to take a northern route and risk snowfall in a 
place like Yellowstone at 11,000 feet. I still have thousands of images 
from the first trip that haven't been processed.  :-)
