Break the code along nav levels Henry Lu a.k.a. Javahand Fri Jul 24 18:30:03 2009

Tiffany,

I did not think the extra id and class attributes would actually matter; but
it looks like they do.

In that case, you would be forced to "split" the template along the depth of
the navigation. Keep the working templates for all navigation at par with
"Learn", and restrict the navigation to that level alone in your navigation
area.

For the next level down, simply use the following template for both
"selected" and "not selected" states and add it to the nav area:

<li>
  <a href="<%!!Context:CurrentIndex.GetUrl()!!%>">
    <%!!Context:CurrentIndex.Headline!!%>
  </a>
    <reddot:cms>
      <if>
        <query valuea="Context:CurrentIndex.HasChildren()" operator="=="
valueb="Bool:True">
          <htmltext>
            <ul>
              <navigation:nextlevel>
            </ul>
          </htmltext>
        </query>
      </if>
    </reddot:cms>
</li>

Of course, make sure you specify the nav level starts one below "Learn" and
its parallels and ends wherever you think reflect the site's nav depth. With
this, I would like to think that it takes care of the problems you
mentioned.

Good luck and I am getting thirsty now!
