[slim] Beep! Beep!

I'm currently using EAC to rip to FLAC, the problem is i'm working
whilst doing it, i'm going through a lot of cd's, why does the FLAC
converter have to bios beep everytime converts a WAV to FLAC?? please
tell me there is a way to stop this? i'm going mad!!!
