Re: [JSch-users] FW: Oracle exp command with jsch kartik.pullabhotla Thu Nov 18 21:00:16 2010

Hi,

Yes, that was foolish. I just thought that reading streams and then
closing the channel is the default way for every channel. I forgot about
quit() for sftp channel. Thanks for pointing it out. One more small
observation. I am logging as an oracle user via the exec channel. I
could observe that the value for the system variable PATH is different
from the value that I get when I login via putty. For eg:
ORACLE_HOME/bin is present for the login via putty whereas it is not
present when I login through exec channel. Because of this I cannot run
oracle commands such as 'exp' directly. I had write a script in which I
had to modify the PATH variable. Why is this difference? Is it related
to bash profile loading?

Please advise.

Regards,
P.V.R.Kartik

Why are you reading input-streams from sftp channel?
Who suggest you to do so? You will get nothing.

   c.dissconnect();
   ftpSession.disconnect();
