I do not see how panscan can help me doubling the size of my (occasionally
small) video with a key, but I gave it a shot nontheless. No value of
panscan and panscanrange changes my video playback size. Could you please
elaborate ;-)

The only change I saw saw when looking a video fullscreen, which i do not
use.
