You have setup the two drives, if raid 0, with no redundancy.  I am assuming 
also that you cannot start the mac in target mode, which would allow you to see 
the volume from another mac via FireWire.  If you cannot add the two drives in 
a very similar hardware structure, you will never get the drives to mount.
