packages

Hi there,

Is there any reason (besides legacy) why there are so many classes and
interfaces in the root package?

Why not move the various interfaces to their own sub packages (many exist
alread)? (and perhaps keep @deprecated for a little time in the root)

And perhaps make a seperate package for the various exceptions?

Or am I to eager to clean up? (my wife shouldn't hear that :-))
