[YouTube-API] Trick to uploading large videos via the DirectMethod?

I have been unable to get the DirectMethod to upload a file larger
than 20 Meg?  What gives on that?  I am using the .NET client
libraries and all I get is "Request aborted. Request Cancelled after
about 2 minutes or so waiting for the file to upload. (on the large
files).

Can someone possibly help me in that regard so I can figure this mess
out?
