I created J2SE6 docset that looks like Apple's J2SE5 docset
I just followed instructions from the
http://developer.apple.com/documentation/developertools/Conceptual/Documentation_Sets/000-Introduction/introduction.html

as an example I took Apple's J2SE 5 docset

I expanded docs.jar from /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/ 
Versions/1.6.0/Home

and put the result to my docset

I used docsetutil for index generation (just like link from the above  
demonstrate)
everything took 30min
and documentation looks fine
I'm not sure about all indexes, because I had to create Node.xml file  
by myself
I just created very simple one.
