[nunit-discuss] Re: How to Get Started Developing NUnit RJV Fri Jun 26 01:00:38 2009

i could think up only these many topics. i will try to provide you with more
based on my first-time experience with OSS

Beginning steps could be:

1. Create an account in SourceForge.Net if you do not already have one.
2. Log in to SourceForge.
3. Once logged in, click on "How to join a project?"
4. Click "Search" under "Find a project that interests you" heading
5. Provide your user credentials when prompted for
6. Once authenticated, type a project name in the Search box at the top
right of the page or
click on display all of the projects we host.

Questions that can be initially addressed are:

1. What is a Branch and a Head and the link(s) to it?
2. What is link to download the current stable build?
3. Which is the recommended build tool to use?

And categories help

1. Bug fixing
2. Feature provision
3. Check-ins
4. Check-outs
5. Commits
6. Code convention
7. XML Documentation/Comments
8. Versioning of the framework assemblies.
