You mean a permanent failure because of wrong configuration, permissions, bad
$CCFLAGS or similar - or a temporary failure because of disk full, resources
In the case of permanent errors I don't think it matters because compilation
compilation of postfix uses the same configuration and will most probably fail
Do you think makedefs must be safe against such temporary failures or do you
care about a group of problems I did not think about?
