quicktime-java

Hello,

I'm working on a Java application which must be able to play long MPEG-2 
videos (taken from DVB-T), seek them and create cue points.
Everything works fine, but I still can't open files larger than 6 hours 
or so. As far as I know, this should be a limit of the MPEG2 plugin and 
of the way QuickTime uses timescale.
Does anybody know if this problem has been solved in the newest versions?
Does anybody found a way to get over this limit?
