Thanks all,

I have decided to just jump in and try it with a pet project of mine.
As I want to document this new project well (to convince the rest of the
team it is a good idea)
and provide an easy way to learn about the interesting things I want to do
(read time expensive),
trac seems a perfect choice for maintaining this project, and giving trac a
good test run.
